  1. With so many different sources of dietary fat – some good and some bad – the choices can get confusing. But the bottom line is simple: don’t go no-fat, go good fat. Below are a few ways to improve your diet.
  2. SWAP SATURATED FAT
    FOR UNSATURATED
    Cook with vegetable oil instead
    of lard, butter or margarine.
    And stay away from deep
    fried foods!

  3. GET THE MOST FROM
    YOUR FOOD
    When you go grocery shopping,
    check food labels for fat
    content. Knowing what food
contains means you can find a
    healthier, tasty alternative.

  4. MAKE HEALTHIER CHOICES
    Limit your intake of saturated
fats by cutting back on red
    meat and full-fat dairy foods.
    Try replacing red meat with
    beans, nuts, poultry, and fish
    whenever possible.
